Ministry of Health – Somalia

The Ministry of Health and Human Services of the Federal Government of Somalia has carried on important actions to strengthen health systems, in line with the country commitment towards to achieving the universal health coverage (UHC).

Therefore, the Ministry of Health and Human Services and its partners are going to commemorate this year’s UHC day in a manner that is different to the previous years.

The Ministry decided to organize highly significant activities for three consecutive days. These include intensified provision of essential health services throughout the country in a number of health facilities and in “health camps” for deprived communities, such as the people displaced by the current floods.
