WHO Country Office in Kazakhstan

Kazakhstan will host a hybrid subregional conference titled “COVID-19 pandemic realities to brighten the spotlight on children and adolescents health”. The Kazakh Government (the MoH and MoE), WHO (CO and HQ), UNFPA (CO), the Kazakh National Center for Public Health are partnering to organize the two-day event in Astana. Speakers and participants of the conference include representatives from Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, Moldova and Armenia. There also will be a YouTube live-stream. We already shared announcement posts on our social pages. A series of SM tiles were developed to highlight the importance of the event and the many achievements of Kazakhstan in widening access to youth-friendly health services in the past few years.
