The Universal Health Coverage (UHC) Forum is set to take place on December 12, 2023, coinciding with the global observance of International Universal Health Coverage Day (UHC Day). The theme for this significant event is “Build the World We Want: Time for Action.” It is being organized by the Chamber of Health Biotech Industries (CHABI) in association with the Sustainable Development Council (SDC), with a partnership with the World Health Organization (WHO), and is scheduled for December 12, 2023.
The forum is planned to be held in New Delhi. This event will serve as a rallying point for the global movement for health for all and aims to raise awareness of the need for strong and resilient health systems and universal health coverage with multi-stakeholder partners. It will galvanize the health sector, countries, development partners, civil society, and the private sector towards the common goal of UHC, including pandemic preparedness, and highlight country success and breakthrough experiences to accelerate the progress of UHC in India.
