The 1st International Patient Summit 2023 is being co-organized by The Patient Academy for Innovation and Research (PAIR), DakshamA Health, The Philippine Alliance of Patient Organizations (PAPO) and The Heart-to-Heart Foundation (HHF), on the 11th and 12th December, on the theme “Equitable healthcare: co-planning, co-designing and co-delivery”. This hybrid event will be held in The Radisson Blu, Dwarka, New Delhi and will be live streamed to allow for more participants and partners to partake in the event.
The International Patient Summit aims to bring together around 150 patient advocates in person and several online, in the region, to share their insights, perspectives, experiences and best practices on the pressing healthcare issues in the region. The event aims to address the challenges of strengthening equitable health systems – including public health functions that are critical for pandemic prevention, preparedness and response, with the inclusion of patient voice and lived experience.
OBJECTIVES:
• To bring together all key and high-level stakeholders to discuss important issues concerning patients specifically from the International region.
• To highlight PAIR’s vision to see patients at the center of healthcare throughout the world and its mission is to help build patient-centered healthcare and UHC worldwide.
• To inspire patient groups to establish national patient alliances that will align and become members of PAIR.
