There will be presentation on “Path to Universal Health Coverage (UHC) in Nepal: Opportunities and Challenges” from a health system researcher. The presentation will cover issues related to UHC like:
• Burden of disease and the need for re-orientation of Nepalese health care delivery system,
• Situation of service availability,
• Service readiness and utilisation,
• Equity, quality and health insurance,
• Role three tiers of governments in federal context and
• Strategic pathway to UHC.
The presentation will be followed by discussion which will be moderated by Prof. Shiva Raj Adhikari.
