This year, in partnership with the Health Action Coordinating Committee (HACC) and GIZ Cambodia, KHANA will convene the civil society led UHD Day to advance the country’s efforts and leadership on “From Commitment to Accountability: Tracking Commitments to Accelerate Progress for Universal Health Coverage”. The event will bring together representatives from government institutions, UN agencies, CSO leaders, and community leaders to commemorate UHC Day 2023 and then urge our leaders to enact policies that guarantee equitable access to essential health services without financial hardship and that ensure good health and well-being is not a privilege for a few but a right for all. In addition, the meeting is a platform to share key results, including the political declaration on UHC from the UNHLM-UHC that recently happened in New York.
