Ghana Network of Persons Living with HIV/AIDS (NAP+ Ghana)

NAP+ Ghana intends to use its social media platforms to highlight the relevance of Universal Health Coverage particularly for Persons living with HIV due to the multi-dimensional and intersectional factors that impedes their overall well-being and quality of life. When PLHIVs have access UHC, it would enhance overall quality of life as community members will be more willing to access other services relating to other health conditions/infections/diseases, improved mental health and well-being; increased self-sufficiency, economic status and self-worth.
Furthermore, NAP+ Ghana would like to use the UHC campaign to also advocate for government, particularly the Minister of Finance, and the President for the operationalisation of the National HIV and AIDS Funds (NACF) in Ghana, although this has been activated since the year 2016.
