The Department of Public Health of German University Bangladesh (GUB) is celebrating Universal Health Coverage Day 2023 by holding a virtual seminar on Universal Health Coverage in Bangladesh. The seminar will explore where we are on UHC and what should be done moving forward. More than 200 students are expected to participate.
Professor Dr. S. M. Iqbal Hossain, Honorable Vice-Chancellor (acting) will serve as the seminar’s Chief Guest while Professor Moazzem Hossain Miah, Treasurer and Dean, FBS, GUB, Professor Dr. Md. Shahjahan, Dean, FHS & FBHS, GUB and Mr. Md. Abul Kalam Azad, Registrar, GUB will also be present as Special Guests. The program will be chaired by the Head of the Department of Public Health, Mr. Syed Billal Hossain. Notably, Md. Mejbah Uddin Mithu, Lecturer of the Department of Public Health, Rowshan Ara Afrin, Lecturer of the Department of Public Health, and the Esteemed faculty members from various departments of the University also will be present at the seminar.
