Ageing Nepal

Ageing Nepal plans to conduct the following activities in observance of UHC Day 2022. (a) Health camp: Free eye camp will be organised in Chandragiri Municipality of ward 15 on 10th December. Glasses and medicine will be also distributed to the needy people. Around 100 people will benefit from the camp. (b) Awareness building: A group of older people will be made aware of their health issues. (c) Article publication: Two articles in English and Nepali languages will be published in national dailies. One blog will be published in the website of concerned international organisation. (d) Request letter to concerned ministries: A request letter for better health policies of older persons will be handed over to the Ministry of Health and Population, and Ministry of Women, Children and Senior Citizens. (e) Social media mobilisation: Facebook and twitter will be widely mobilised for sharing and promoting the campaign activities.
